On Tuesday October 27, 2009 Enginuity Energy LLC hosted the ribbon cutting ceremony for its new Energy Center.  Distinguished guests from State & Local Government, the energy industry, and the community were on hand to celebrate the opening of the new facility.  The Energy Center, a 9,000 square foot facility that was formerly constructed to be a State emissions center.  After its purchase by Enginuity-LLLC the facility has been renovated and incorporates sustainable design components such as; high efficiency HVAC equipment, programmable temperature controls, T-5 lighting with daylight harvesting capabilities, recycled materials for wall and floor covering and a 5kw photovoltaic solar array.  The mission of the Energy Center is to promote the education and social awareness of issues pertaining to energy and the environment.  Its secondary mission is to address the meeting space needs of not-for-profit organizations within the Central Pennsylvania region.  For more information on the center click here:
